Another office metamorphosis we had the pleasure of performing. This time we present the renovated spaces of the Bacardi-Martini company, whose headquarters is located in Warsaw in the Mokotów Nova building.

This project was a real challenge. On the one hand, the new interior of the Bacardi-Martini office had to correspond to the concept of flexible work. On the other – it had to remain faithful to the traditional values of the Investor (Founders, Family, and Fearless), as well as relate in design to the distinctive graphic garments of the well-known Bacardi brands.

We found a way to do this – we opted for unobtrusive elegance, which mixes industrial style in various design elements. We also changed some of the existing room layouts. New ad-hoc meeting spaces, offices, and a creative room have been separated in the space. In turn, we adapted the previously functioning meeting rooms, open space, reception area, as well as social and dining areas to the new interior design. The new layout allows employees to change where they perform their duties throughout the day, depending on the nature of their work, their own mood, or current preferences.

An important element of the project, which significantly influences its final design, is the idea of sustainability. We reached for the idea of reusing existing elements of the office arrangement. At the same time, we tried to adjust the new functional layout of the space in such a way that it was possible to use some of the existing buildings. In the open space area, we decided to leave all the existing desks. The furniture received new upholstered partitions in Martini brand colour with higher – than before – acoustic parameters. We also left some of the chairs, which had previously undergone renovation.

In the social and dining area, we also managed to reuse selected design elements (including ceramic tiles manufactured especially for Bacardi). There is a cosy, homey atmosphere here, which supports integration and creates a family atmosphere. One of the atypical spaces for offices is the bar area, which we also had the task of rearranging and refreshing. We decided to reuse the bar’s design and keep its original shape. The predominant atmosphere here is that of the Prohibition era. The dark, elegant interior is brightened by illuminated shelves with Bacardi brand products and neon signs, while heavy sofas style the whole thing into an interior in the climate of a century ago.

A new space in the Bacardi-Martini office includes a creative room, patronized by the Bombay Sapphire® brand. This space is meant to stimulate the artistic nature of each of the company’s employees. It is conducive to brainstorming but also serves as a relaxation and an opportunity to take a break from work. The loose, creative style evocative of the branding is highlighted by comfortable bean bag pouffes, a wide sofa and armchairs, and a blue backlit ceiling.

The new Bacardi-Martini office is a space with many faces. Together they create an image of a modern company that cares about its employees and is true to its enduring values.
