About the project:
The main goal of this project was to create a space that would showcase the Studio A investment at the highest level. Despite its compact footprint, the showroom was designed to make the most of every square meter in a highly flexible way.
Inspiration and guiding concept:
The design of the showroom draws inspiration from the raw, urban structures of the city and the presence of greenery—both in the form of plants and in the colors used throughout the built-in elements, carpeting, and walls. A key visual feature of the interior are the collages by artist Aleksandra Morawiak, offering a creative interpretation of the Studio concept and harmonizing with the large glazed surfaces of the meeting room.
Sustainability and materials:
The showroom, created for Skanska’s office division, was designed in line with the principles of sustainable development, reflected in both material selection and the use of eco-friendly solutions. We applied natural wood veneers and recycled materials, while the use of light-toned natural wood highlights Skanska’s Scandinavian roots and brings a warm, homelike atmosphere to the meeting space.
We also reused several elements—such as a table, chairs, and an armchair—which were restored and reintroduced into the new arrangement.
Scope of work by The Design Group:
Our team was responsible for both the conceptual and executive interior design. At every stage of the process, we considered the needs of the client and future users. As a branding tool, the showroom is designed to support the leasing process for Studio A, the high-rise phase of Skanska’s office complex.
