Reimagining the Office – The Future of the Workplace
The discussion about the future of office work seems to have no end. After a wave of optimism over the summer, we found ourselves again at the peak of the pandemic, which has a huge impact on how and where we work. What guidance can help shape workplaces today? Agnieszka Bulus-Trando from BiznesINFO.TV and FMC27News spoke with market leaders about their insights on office space.
“To retain tenants or attract new ones, we should be addressing all possible office needs. Many companies don’t yet know what their future will look like and prefer flexible agreements that don’t tie them in for a long time. Many of them simply want to focus on business, while the operator takes care of all office-related matters.” – Rafał Pisklewicz, Team Leader Office Poland & Group Leasing CEE, IMMOFINANZ
“Reflecting the company’s culture in the office space arrangement is one of the most important issues in designing a functional office. Arrangements will move towards making the space as flexible and multifunctional as possible.” – Konrad Krusiewicz, CEO, The Design Group
“In the labour market, we have a mix of 5 generations. Each of them has different needs and expectations. This is why the Activity Based Office trend is absolutely the future. We need to place greater emphasis on internal employee surveys to find out what kind of offices they expect.” – Oskar Kasiński, CEO, HR Design Group
“We recommend that clients invite employees – so-called change ambassadors – into the process of developing new office models. It is important to ask them what is good for business, not what they would want. With a high level of trust and employee involvement in decision-making, we can count on a great deal of common sense and a performance-focused approach.” – Krzysztof Misiak, Head of Poland, Cushman & Wakefield
