Warsaw’s Provident Polska Office in a New Look
Provident has been operating in Poland since 1997, offering cash loans. The company moved its Warsaw headquarters to the modern Gdański Business Centre complex. The interior design was entrusted to The Design Group studio.
“We wanted to create a space that reflects our values and supports a modern way of working.” – Konrad Krusiewicz, The Design Group
“The new office is a symbol of change – a more open, flexible and human organisation.” – Provident Polska representative
COLLABORATION FIRST
The pandemic experience prompted Provident to rethink its working model. The office was designed with a hybrid model in mind – hot desks and a reservation system replaced assigned workstations. The space fosters spontaneous meetings and collaborative project work.
HOME-LIKE AND NATURAL
The front of house zone is maintained in a warm atmosphere – window glazing bars and dado panels give it a home-like character. The open plan with shelves full of greenery creates a friendly, natural working environment.
“I dreamt of a space where employees would feel comfortable, as if at home.” – Marta Konarska, The Design Group
ZERO WASTE – OLD FOR NEW
An important part of the project was the reuse of furniture from the previous office arrangement. Armchairs and tables moved to new zones, sometimes after reupholstering. This approach is consistent with the company’s sustainable development strategy.
“It is not only an ecological decision – the rescued furniture has its own character and history.” – Konrad Krusiewicz, The Design Group
ARTISTIC CORRIDORS
The art collection is one of the most characteristic elements of the office. The corridors were named after female artists, and the walls are decorated with works inspired by their output. The dominant accent is a neon featuring Frida Kahlo’s image. The space is complemented by a play room – a relaxation zone for employees.
