Polish Zendesk Office Project Awarded – The Design Group’s Success
The Warsaw studio The Design Group (TDG), led by Konrad Krusiewicz, once again proves its position at the world’s forefront of office interior designers. Their interior design of the Krakow Zendesk office was recognized in the prestigious Architecture MasterPrize 2024 competition, making it into the elite group of the 12 best office projects in the world! This is already the second international recognition for this realization!
International Success
Architecture MasterPrize is a competition that recognizes the most innovative and influential architectural projects in the world. The judges award the best realizations promoting creativity, innovation and sustainable development in architecture. Victory in this prestigious competition is a tremendous honor.
For The Design Group, the award in the “Workplaces Interior” category and the fact that the Krakow Zendesk office ranked among the top 12 best realizations in the world proves that this studio sets the standards in the field of workspace design.
Konrad Krusiewicz, founder and CEO of the TDG studio, emphasizes that the project’s success stems from harmonious collaboration with the client and a commitment to continuously raising design standards:

We are pleased that our approach to design has once again been recognized on the international stage.”
It is worth recalling that the Zendesk office project was already recognized outside Poland – in 2023 it received an award in the European Property Award 2023-2024 competition.
The Office of the Future: Interiors Inspired by Nature and Hygge
The award-winning office space of the global technology company is located in the Krakow MK29 office building at Bulwary Wiślane. The Zendesk headquarters project is a true showcase of harmony between modernity and nature, which surprises from the very first step. TDG focused on creating a space that departs from rigid corporate patterns and becomes an oasis of calm, dominated by the Danish philosophy of hygge – a sense of cosiness, security and coherence with the surroundings.
– “Together with the Client, we wanted the new office to be a place of experience. A place that not only supports productivity, but also builds a sense of community and calm. That is why we chose an unusual office layout, natural materials, warm lighting and plenty of greenery – which is not associated with a typical workplace, but rather with a cosy hotel with good wellness facilities. Additionally, confirmation of the high quality of natural materials is our fulfilment of the requirements of WELL and LEED standards” – emphasizes architect Konrad Krusiewicz, CEO of The Design Group.
The layout of the Zendesk office space resembles the structure of a Danish town – it is divided into zones: from public space (reception, café and event space) through the space filled with plants and conference rooms to the more private area with individual workspaces. Spaces full of creative spots strengthen the sense of community, integration and open communication among employees.
Additionally, in almost every corner of the office, elements of Polish architecture and design can be found.
– “We wanted this space to be a reflection of Zendesk’s global character, but at the same time with local Polish accents” – says architect Konrad Krusiewicz. – “Hence the interiors feature such elements as wood panelling, geometric patterns, corset-like ornaments characteristic of the interwar period, glass blocks referencing the Art Deco style, a bookshelf that corresponds to the decorative façade of the Wyspiański Pavilion in Krakow, and glazing (above the stairs) covered with a special illustration inspired by Wyspiański’s famous stained-glass windows.”
The Zendesk office project was recognized from among thousands of extraordinary projects. The awards ceremony took place on 18 November 2024 at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
