An Office Tailored to Measure by The Design Group
ESET, a cybersecurity company and creator of innovative computer security solutions, moved its headquarters to a new location in Kraków. The interior design was handled by The Design Group design studio from Warsaw, which created a space tailored to the investor’s needs, blending the atmosphere of cosy elegance with motifs of modern technology.
The office located on nearly 1,800 sqm in the Bronowice Business Center complex is today an exceptional place on the map of the Lesser Poland capital. From the very entrance it is clear that this space is full of unusual design solutions. The interior binds together elegance with rawness — the reception zone invites exploration of the entire office. Concrete resin on the walls, flooring imitating an oak plank, and an open ceiling with black-painted installations create an intriguing backdrop for the impressive greenery and turquoise details referencing ESET’s corporate colours. Throughout the office space, cosy domestic motifs intertwine with the soul of industrial modernity.
A characteristic element of the office is the long corridors, whose walls are arranged with various claddings. Strips of wood alternate with sections of green walls and architectural concrete. A strong accent is also the specially designed graffiti referencing the IT specifics of the ESET industry. The whole is emphasised by linear lighting running up the wall and transitioning onto the ceiling, creating true light gateways.
The central point of the office is a large kitchen combined with a chillout zone, where every user will find a spot for themselves. In addition to large tables encouraging integration, there is also a space with a games console, massage chairs and soft sofas tucked away behind huge, living palms. The entire space is divided by geometric stripes on the floor and impressive suspended ceilings made of wooden slats.
The ESET office is also an exceptional workplace in terms of working conditions. All workstations are located in ergonomic offices with excellent acoustics and dedicated lighting, equipped with sit-stand desks with electric height adjustment and high-class, fully ergonomic task chairs.
