Allegro – Largest Tenant at the Norblin Factory

Allegro, Poland’s most popular shopping platform, has leased nearly 16,200 sqm at the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. The tenant was represented in negotiations with the Capital Park Group by the international advisory firm Cresa, and the interior design of the new office was handled by the Warsaw architectural studio The Design Group.

Allegro is growing at an unprecedented pace: over 20 million users visit the site every month, making Allegro the favourite shopping destination in Poland. Last year, the number of offers available for customers to choose from increased by 40%, and a new business account is created every 5 minutes. The company’s new office will occupy five floors in building B of the multi-functional Norblin Factory complex. The company will move from the Q22 office building to the Norblin Factory in stages, starting from July 2021.

“Allegro needed a larger office due to the dynamic growth of the team. The company started the relocation process two years in advance, giving us time to thoroughly verify offers and adapt the contract terms to the client’s needs. A well-connected location was important for Allegro, as was a large floor area, building availability in the second half of next year and numerous employee amenities. The Norblin Factory met all of Allegro’s requirements. This building offers an above-standard level of services and a number of amenities enhancing the comfort of everyday work – says Artur Sutor, partner, head of the Tenant Representation department at Cresa Polska.”

“The Norblin Factory is a project unique on a global scale. Around its history, historic buildings and machinery, and historic streets, referring to the tradition of design and art, we will build the identity of this exceptional venue. We are creating a complex of the future, with comfortable offices, a wide range of entertainment, gastronomy, services, retail, cultural and wellness offerings, unprecedented in Poland until now – emphasises Magdalena Terech, Head of Office Letting Department at the Capital Park Group. – We are enormously pleased with the agreement signed with Allegro. This is for our project a model tenant, bringing together people full of passion, ideas and the desire to act. It is they, together with other office workers, who will shape the atmosphere of this place.”

The Norblin Factory is an exceptional place in the centre of the capital at the junction of Żelazna, Prosta and Łucka streets. On 2 ha, 65,000 sqm of usable space is being created, of which 41,000 sqm will be offices. The remaining over 24,000 sqm will combine several functions: entertainment, gastronomy, services, retail, cultural and wellness. The investor and initiator of the Norblin Factory revitalisation is the Capital Park Group.
