Xceedance Consulting Polska Selects the High5ive Complex in Kraków as Its New Polish Headquarters

The consulting company Xceedance Consulting Polska has selected the High5ive office complex as its new Polish headquarters. Walter Herz advised on the process of location selection, lease term negotiations and space arrangement.

Xceedance, a global provider of technology and analytical solutions in insurance services management, has decided to relocate its Polish headquarters to the High5ive 4 office building located on Pawia Street in Kraków. The new office, spread across 1,500 sqm, will be arranged in keeping with work-life balance principles, taking into account the business needs of Xceedance. This will allow the company to further develop its staff in the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

“Guided by the development of Xceedance, we were looking for an office in an attractive Kraków location with easy access to public transport and centrally situated amenities. Our goals included creating a creative, engaging workplace for our team and future colleagues. Through a rigorous procurement process, we selected High5ive, which met our needs in terms of high-quality space and location. “The task of our team was to guarantee Xceedance comprehensive support in selecting the optimal location that would fully satisfy its development needs in Kraków over the next 5 years. The scope of the agency’s work covered not only the search for the most optimal space for the company and the negotiation of lease terms. We were also responsible for the office fit-out. Through a tendering process, after analysis of costs and negotiation of valuations, the architectural studio of Konrad Krusiewicz – The Design Group, which is responsible for the design of Xceedance’s new headquarters – was selected, informs Mateusz Strzelecki, Partner / Head of Regional Markets at Walter Herz.”

“From the beginning we knew that project management and a high standard of arrangement would play a large role in this project, so advanced valuation negotiations and comprehensive coordination of the design process were key – says Emilia Kalińska, Regional Coordinator at Walter Herz.”

“Starting work on the office project for the young Xceedance team, we knew we had to create a relaxed space in which everyone can feel good, almost as if at home. Important for us was the use of friendly colours and textures, which we introduced on velvet curtains and acoustic panels in meeting rooms. There are many colours, but they are not dominant or overwhelming. Additionally, they are broken up by dark wood, which gives a cosy character with a slightly elegant flair. We also introduced elements of an industrial style such as open ceilings and characteristic glazing with black bars. The glazing sets the rhythm of the interiors, because its lines permeate the entire space, which gave the possibility of creating a coherent whole. They appear in the form of black MDF strips, as well as frames keeping in check colourful, botanical wallpapers and graphics in meeting rooms with leading motifs supporting the company’s internal communication – recounts Martyna Smętek, designer from The Design Group, responsible for the office concept.”

“What will only be visible after the completion of the realisation is the naming of the rooms, i.e. Bali, Palermo, Hogwart. The names were selected through a competition conducted among office employees, which gave them the possibility of an active contribution to the interior design project – adds Karolina Kózka, designer from The Design Group.”
