How Industrial Offices Could Look at Wola Retro
Develia S.A., the owner of the Wola Retro office building in Warsaw among others, has prepared example visualisations of the finishing of industrial spaces in the building. The company proposes furnishing the interiors with an emphasis on their loft style – exposed brick dominates on the walls, while warm lighting and wooden elements add character to the offices.
Wola Retro is one of the most interesting office buildings handed over for use in 2019 in Warsaw. The complex consists of two harmoniously composed buildings – a four-storey building from the 1930s that underwent thorough modernisation, and a newly constructed 14-storey office tower. The Wola Retro project was designed by architects from the Kuryłowicz&Associates office.
“We always give our tenants considerable freedom in designing offices. This allows companies to create spaces according to their needs. In preparing the visualisations of Wola Retro’s interior arrangements, we wanted to show how the assets offered by the building’s industrial space can be utilised. The architects from The Design Group are responsible for their design – says Izabela Miśta-Brzeska, Senior Leasing Manager at Develia S.A.”
“This building, diverse in its fabric, offers great possibilities for free work on design material. An interesting challenge was giving character to the large open spaces containing elements of the existing structure. For the designed space, an industrial style seemed most natural, which in our opinion is well visible in the concept we prepared – says Konrad Krusiewicz, architect and founder of The Design Group.”
7,000 sqm remains available for lease at Wola Retro, including 1,500 sqm of industrial space characterised by exposed bricks, original ceilings and exceptionally high rooms.
“Office space designed in a loft style, combined with the historical and authentic atmosphere of our building, meets the expectations of the most demanding companies. With the right office arrangement, spaces delight and satisfy the needs of employees, also becoming an additional asset for our tenants in the labour market – says Izabela Miśta-Brzeska.”
