Kraków: How the Interiors of the Office Buildings on Aleja Jana Pawła II Will Look
The process of filling offices in three office buildings of Podium Park on aleja Jana Pawła II is underway. We also know how some interiors will look. Among the new tenants is TechnipFMC, which has presented how their offices in Podium Park will look.
TechnipFMC will occupy four floors of the office building on aleja Jana Pawła II. It is a global corporation delivering technological solutions for the energy industry, specialising in innovative solutions for the extraction of oil and natural gas. The Design Group architectural studio is responsible for the arrangement of the company’s office.
– Keeping in mind the client’s needs, we decided to make the office structurally refer to what TechnipFMC does, i.e. supporting the extraction of raw materials from the seabed. We therefore defined four levels: the first floor is the underwater space, the second is the water surface, the third and fourth are the decks of a floating unit used during marine operations. Our concept was very well received by the client – explains arch. Konrad Krusiewicz, founder of The Design Group.
The main task of the architects was to show elements characteristic of TechnipFMC’s activities. It is technical and raw here – the client sought such a space, wanting to create a place that not only speaks volumes about the company itself, but also favours the analytical minds of the engineers working there. The most visible element is the recreation of the atmosphere of TechnipFMC’s floating equipment – exposed installations and cabling, industrial lamps, trusses, containers and yellow technical barriers.
