Office Walls: 10 Inspiring Projects from Poland
Old brick, colourful murals, industrial metal sheets, or perhaps vertical greenery? Office walls do not have to be boring! We present great examples from offices in Poland.
TechnipFMC Office in Krakow
Across four floors of the TechnipFMC office, The Design Group studio successfully created a space capturing the atmosphere of underwater depths and maritime themes associated with the company’s profession. It is technical and raw – such a space was sought by the client, who wanted to create a place that speaks about the company itself, while also being conducive to the precise minds of the engineers working there. The wall finishes played a major role.
An interesting solution is the covering of walls with painted trapezoidal sheets. The successive floors of the office feature different brand colours of trapezoidal sheet, constituting the arrangement axis of each space. The red, blue and purple dominating the company’s logo are complemented by raw concrete resin. A wooden-effect laminate applied to the walls in the private offices warms up the arrangement.
Particular attention deserves the first floor of the office – the collab area zone designed for collaborative work. Maintained in navy blue, with walls finished with a special light-dispersing structure, it evokes the character of an underwater world.
